In 1973 Olivers Transport started its journey when Norman Oliver started driving his first vehicle from a small yard in the Scottish Borders. Almost 50 years on we remain a family business, built on a solid foundation of reliability and efficiency, with particular focus on being flexible to our customer needs and tailoring solutions in order to provide the highest level of quality service.

In order to enable this Olivers Transport has continually invested in its people and facilities. We run a modern fleet of vehicles and our premises are purpose built, integrating highly efficient technology systems to maximise our operations.
We offer full load and groupage services throughout the UK which are undertaken with our own vehicles and drivers
Three purpose-built warehouses with over 60,000sq feet of warehouse capacity with 5000 rack spaces
We are a member of Palletline network freight distribution covering UK, Ireland and Europe on a next day and economy service
Our refrigerated trailers handle collections and deliveries of chilled/frozen products to Regional Distribution Centres in the UK
We facilitate loading and unloading of goods for customers for storage and onward distribution

Kenneth has been in the Transport Business for a long time. He manages all aspects of company policies taking an active role within the operational side of Olivers Transport Limited.
Anne has over 25 years experience in sales and business management and is the initial contact for enquiries relating to new sales or storage requirements. She also manages all aspects of marketing within the company.
Pam is one of our long serving staff members and oversees all office operations. She is in charge of specific roles covering health and safety, insurance, wages and pensions, and is responsible for our accounts department.
Celine has extensive experience in the logistics and shipping sector. She deals with Palletline operations, Proof of Deliveries and is the main contact for collections, bookings and deliveries.
Stevie handles stores management, assists with traffic and assists with BRGCS Accreditation.
Kevin is responsible for our team of technicians for our own in-house vehicle maintenance, keeping our fleet at a high operational standard, meeting all legal requirements.
Kaye is in charge of the purchase ledger and assistent to Pam Cook. Kaye’s broad administrative experience from previous roles is an asset to our team dynamics.
